Discover our other popular features such as Health Calculators, Kids Health(c), and the Breast Cancer Guide in addition to the Virtual Body.” This is a good site for science with application for the middle school and senior students.

2. The Chordbook – www.chordbook.com – The internet abounds with music sites, but this one is different. This site will support and facilitate you learning to play the guitar (electric or acoustic). You can find chords and hear them played on the virtual guitar. You can make up your own chords and store them for later use. The Chord Search facility helps you to identify chords, for both left and right handed players.

3. Rhyming dictionary – www.writeexpress.com/online2.html – this site has useful tool for the english classroom, a rhyming dictionary. Add in a word and it will find other words that Rhyme. Great for poetry or song writing, developing raps etc.

4. Intute Portal – www.intute.ac.uk – Seven UK universities developed this powerful portal which as their splash line says “Helping you find the best websites for study and research”. This site is brilliant and one I will exploring further. A Must visit!

World Digital Library – www.wdl.org This is an interactive online library which allows the user to search by timeline, type, name etc. A useful and flexible interactive site well worth a visit and applicable to many curriculum areas.
